Girl’s sweet chilli sunshine…

So I’ve been down in Cornwall for a week – well just less than a week – now and having a hell of a time with the girls. It was meant to be 5 of us, two guys and three girls, but in the end it was just 4 of us, although we did meet up with a friend that was already down there and her boyfriend. But the guys backed out, one because of personal reasons and the other because he’s a hot head and does stupid stuff when he’s angry.

So we spent an outrageous amount of time getting down to Cornwall, because of all the traffic on the way down, it seemed like everyone was heading down to Cornwall. Or perhaps like we were chasing the traffic, but whichever one it was, it all amounts to spending about 4 extra hours in the car, than we had to last year.

At least we didn’t get court in a traffic jam like this one!

This time around we went to this camp site on the side of a hill, OK we rolled around a little in the night and had to be careful with the camping stove, but the view was lovely! But that also meant that it was pretty windy on the camp site, so by the second day we had decided to peg the guide ropes down – that is what those ropes are called right?

Unlike last year we spent the majority of our time lounging around on different beaches, or swimming in the sea. But about halfway through the trip we decided to buy a boat, as we had found a island that we wanted to get to, but after careful inspection of the water, we decided that it was safe to try and swim to it, so we got the boat to hold onto and while two people sat in the boat the other two swam. It was actually really funny, because there was this weird seaweed that we had to swim through and on the way to the island one of my friend started screaming “I’m f*cking Harry Potter” as she swam through the seaweed, which became one of Holiday quotes.

Because the camp site was family friend – very much so, basically just family’s and couples – there were a lot of children around, which means having to wake up to them screaming, but the children in the tent next to us, although waking us up at god knows when, gave us a bunch of laughs. However we thought one of the brother’s was a girl for a while, before we actually saw them.

Although I said we spent most of our time on the beach, we did go to St Ives once, but we couldn’t find a parking space, so we ended up just driving around St Ives, and then going back to the camp site and getting drunk – which we did a few times, with the friend and her boyfriend. On one night I was felt alone with the boyfriend and the friend and so I said a bunch of inappropriate things to the boyfriend, as a drunk me is a unfiltered me – but it wasn’t awkward the next day or anything…

So other than St Ives, we went to this chocolate factory, which turned out to be one room, with people making chocolate behind this glass screen and then a bunch of shops. We only really ended up going there because it started raining, which it did a couple times, but we got some nice sunny afternoons and some warm evening, such as the one were we headed to Tesco in our Pyjamas. Where in the parking lot one of my friend called a guy ‘stupid for not wearing pyjamas to Tesco’.

Luckily for us our last day was pretty gloriously sunny, so we headed back to the beach where we sailed to the island and did some jumping off rocks. Unfortunately I forgot my swimsuit, so I only had bikinis, so I wore a shirt over the top, as I didn’t want to show off my flabby fat belly – as I haven’t been working out recently, and have been kind of eating fatty food. But as my friend said we’ve got a month or so to get fit, before we head to university – which was a sort of banned word on this trip, as we’re all a little scared/excited about going, well the one’s of us that are going.

But overall it was a good trip, although at one point one of my friends tried to stick her tongue down my throat. Not that I don’t think she’s a lovely person, but I always think it’s a little weird to get with a friend – even for just a night. That can lead to awkwardness and I’d rather conserve the friendship. Although I know the friend that tried to kiss me doesn’t totally feel that way about friendship and romance.

So I decided that I like sweet chilli, or at least I liked the sweet chilli sauce we had on our noodles one night. Although we did binge on crisps and sugar free Limeade a couple times, I think we did pretty well with the meals and what not, although we seriously underestimated the amount of money we would need for food, but luckily everyone had enough, so it was all good. Although I thought I was going to come back with some money left in my purse, I thought it would be a lot more than the amount I did come abck with, but hey ho, what is money for, but to spend – right?

Quote/saying of the day: When you have faults, do not fear to abandon them –  Confucius quotes (China’s most famous teacher, philosopher, and political theorist). I have a whole bunch of them written on a poster on my room door. Think I might take it to university with me and put on my door there or something. But then as my brother said when I put it up, who reads what’s on the door? As proven my Doctor Who.

Speaking of Doctor Who, the extra long episode is airing this weekend, can’t wait for it. Although I might be going out that night, so will probably be recording it and watching it the day after, although I think I would record it any ways.

Alright so I heard Taylor Swift’s new song on the radio in the car one day and thought I’d share. I’m not a really big Taylor swift fan, but I like her stuff – well some of it.

Now I would have put some photo’s in this post, but I seem to have misplaced my photo’s as I’m not sure where I imported them to. But when I find them I put them up, somewhere somehow and all that jazz.

Secret option number C…

Alright guys, I have a ground breaking idea; why don’t we just stop being unhappy and start being happy?

Sometimes there’s this little part of me that just wants to slap people.

But any ways today was a normal day in the span of days that pass by almost unnoticed, by those of us that aren’t constantly fighting to stay alive – moment of silence to thank whatever god/goddess/gods/goddesses, you believe in (no judgement right now). Speaking of a moment of silence it is Remembrance day today. Now I’m not that big on remembrance day, well not as big as some people. I have the moment of silence and I respect the ideals it is up holding, but I think it was just the way I was raised and also I sort of feel slightly bad making a big deal out of it and then also nearly equals as bad for not making a big deal out of it – I’m conflicted.

Any ways so today I went in late, or rather later. And when I met up with my friends something had happened. Now I’m a little shaky on the details, but from what I can get from people, it seems that they were having a little discussion and they decided that because they didn’t know him well enough, they were going to exclude my friends boyfriend from secret Santa, as they didn’t think they could get him a nice gift. But this apparently made her storm off in a big upset. I’m not too sure as to who actually said what and what not, but the group is in agreement and it wasn’t just her boyfriend that was excluded some of people were as well, because they weren’t around and all that jazz, although on a side note I wasn’t around as well and now I have no idea what to get the person I got, so I’m a little stumped, because I want to get them something they will like, but I have not idea what! Any ways, so my friend is now mad at everyone, even me, who I must say had no part in any of this and well I’m a little pissed about that and some other stuff, but hey-ho, maybe she was having a bad day or something, you just can’t tell. Well I hope that everything gets worked out, soon. Because I really don’t want a stupid argument to start because of this.

Also my friend is now having a Dr Who party thing, on the same night that my friend is having her decades party. I think it was meant to be because some of my friends don’t like her that much – old stuff – and she invited them, I think she was trying to be nice and mend bridges sort of thing, but they didn’t seem to want to go, well one of them did. She seemed damn excited about it, but the others didn’t and well since I’m still friends with her I’m going to go, but I feel bad about not going to the Dr Who party, although I did say I would go to the decades party first, so I feel obligated to go to that one, way more than the other. Although I might have to find another way home and also it kind of feels like the old not ultimatums ultimatums that used to happen and I used to pick secret options number C. But then this time I guess I’m taking option number A and letting the chips fall where they may, sort of thing. I’m tired of the mind games and all that not so jazzy jazz – not that I’m saying that my friends play mind games, more like that people do, in general. Although I’m most certain that some of them have no idea that that’s what they’re doing, because it’s basically second nature – get what I’m trying to say?

So on wards. My brother has been off at the army base for a week or so now and he’s starting ringing the last couple of nights, which was nice to hear from him, but apparently, he’s not allowed to walk around the place without an escort and for the first 4 weeks he’s not allowed into the wreck-room, so he’s missing this TV show we used to watch together, Agents of shield – I’m sure someone has heard of it, but yeah I tend to watch some of that genre. But it seems that he’s having a hard time, as apparently he has to walk around in these huge, heavy military boots, which make your feet stink, so yeah, I’ll leave that to the imagination, but it seems like he’s making friends – the only place in the world were someone like him would make friends instantly 😉 (felt like the smiley face was needed, although I don’t usually use them).

So I’m planning to go to the sea side, or a rural village and I was talking to my friends about it and one of them was talking about it as if I had gone insane or something. It’s not that weird to want to go to the seaside in November is it? – in England! But I want to take picture and all that jazz. Since I want to get more use out of my camera and that sort of thing, since the film for my polaroid runs out at the end of the year and I’m not sure what will happen when it does expire, because I know that some of the older brands can give you interesting effects when their expired, but this is the new stuff, so I have no idea what’s going to happen and I would like to be able to get my moneys worth for it. But I don’t want to waste it, so I’m trying to find I really nice place, that is scenic, but not going to be calling with people and also not be a ghost town, which is harder than you might think, or easier – despite popular belief I cannot read minds over the internet.

So I’ve sort of taken a step back from Beethoven, although that doesn’t stop his music from filling my mind and stopping me from concentrating, but it seems that I’m just not a good enough pianist to be able to play him right. So I’ve taken my hat off and dropped my sword in the conceding on my inadequacies, but I can still play the first half, slightly! But then I keep finding all these songs that I would love to be able to play and I think maybe I should take back up one of my fallen instruments and see if I can rekindle my fire for one of them, but then I’ve always wanted to learn to play the violin, but it’s one of those ones that doesn’t sound good when you don’t know what you doing, I mean really sounds horrible at time, when with others, it can just sound… off and not completely ear bleeding.

I love both these guys. Lindsey Stirling is really amazing and so are the Pentatonix(s) ENJOY!

It would be wild if I could play this on the piano, or the violin like Lindsey Stirling.

Nothing happens when you don’t go…

Halloween? Nothing happens on Halloween. –Buffy the Vampire slayer.

Now that’s something true. My Halloween has been blissfully peaceful and uneventful, but then that’s probably because I’m postponing my Halloween fun for tomorrow, due to Halloween being on a Thursday, mid week isn’t always the best time and all that jazz. But then again I have yet to have trick or treaters turnings up at my door and I’m thinking good, because I don’t have much to give them and the whole thing of ringing someone doorbell and expecting them to give you a treat for just being there in some store bought costume, really? You used to have to actually do something, like a dance or something like that, but now it’s just give us candy or else. Then I’m a little too old for trick or treating, but hey ho and world keeps turning around and around.

So I’ve had this horrible arm ache, ever since I spent a day chopping up wood. It was both tiresome and sort of fun, although the after effects aren’t fun at all. I did the chopping on Tuesday and I’m still hurting, so I’m hoping it will have stopped by tomorrow, but then it feels like my body is falling apart at the moment, as my knee was hurting this afternoon and then my back was hurting since Monday last week, so yeah… Things are achy.

Any ways on a different subject, my friend is having a decades party for her birthday this year. You can come as any decade, so I was thinking 80’s/70’s rock/punk. Since I found this jacket that I love. It’s a khaki jacket, with ‘God Save the Queen’ written across the back, which for those own don’t understand, look up the Sex Pistols and you might get it, but any who. I’ve decided that I’m going to make it myself, instead of searching the internet for one. So I’m getting a khaki jacket and then adding some metallic studs and spray painting ‘God save the Queen across the back. But other than the jacket and these new military style boots I just got, I’m not sure what else I’m going to wear. I’ve been looking through some pictures online to try and get inspiration, but at the moment I’m just thinking a bralet, tartan shorts and some leggings, but I don’t really feel like that’s good enough, although I want to get some red, John Lennon style (round) glasses, because I think their really cool and there quite cheap and all that jazz. But yeah. I’m still working on it and I’ve got some time until the party, but I want to get things that I would wear any ways, so that I’m not just spending money on something that I’m never going to wear again. Such as I did with my Halloween costume, apart from the fangs maybe the rest of the costume I wear any ways, because I don’t really have money to burn at the moment.

I’m trying to save, as I want to go to Ireland next year, although now I’m thinking that I might end up going alone. As I was thinking that it would be fun to go with friends, but the way that it’s going it might just be me, myself and I. But I think that could be a great experience as well and maybe a good bit of fun. Everyone seemed really interesting and excited about it at first, but then as it went along and talk of money came up, people seemed to less interested and so far only one seems as interesting in going as I am. So maybe we’ll go. Although neither of us can drive, so we’ll have to walk or something like that everywhere, maybe hitch hike. That would be an adventure, although it could be dangerous and I don’t know how I feel about carrying all my luggage around with me and whole trip, I’ll have to pack light – I’m not very good at that.

Recently I’ve had this over whelming need to go to the sea and not just any sea or anything. I want to go to the sea where it is clear enough to see the bottom in deeper water and go swimming, but around here there isn’t really anywhere where you can do that, so the only way I can is go abroad, but that’s not going to happen, so I’m having to suppress that need and just carry on.
